A Welcome Note from Teresa Hammack

I want to thank you for your interest in Mars Hill Retirement Communityand let you know a little more about us!

Mars Hill Retirement Community is actually located on the campus of Mars Hill College, about 18 miles north of Asheville, NC.  Our surroundings are beautiful and we still enjoy the sweetness of living in a small town. Our town is friendly and all the folks here are our neighbors.  Mars Hill is steeped in music, culture and art. The prestigious Southern Appalachian Repertory Theater provides us with world class plays and presentations. World renowned artist such as the Vienna Boys Choir and the Chinese Acrobats grace our stage at Moore Auditorium every winter. In the fall as the leaves decorate the landscape, we enjoy the Heritage Festival and the Bascoam Lamar Festival, where bluegrass legends such as Josh Goforth, Appalachian Crafts and the world champion Bailey Mountain Cloggers thrill the audience; all this is just outside our back door!

We here at Mars Hill Retirement Community pride ourselves with your care.  We are a member of the Assisted Living Federation of America which demonstrates a commitment to excellence and ongoing professional development.
